"Hardships often prepare ordinary people for an extraordinary destiny."
It is always amazing to see the extraordinary things that people can do. What they can accomplish when setting their minds to something.
You can see that in the beauty of martial arts. Whether you are training Tae Kwon Do, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Aikido or anything other martial art. Just look at how a martial artist moves, their is a stillness and calmness to it. Peaceful, effortless movement through years of dedication to their art.
It's like watching a skilled musician move their hand effortlessly up and down the fret board of a guitar. They can feel the music inside of themselves and bring it to life on their instrument.
For a martial artist, that instrument might be their own body, the weapon in their hand or how they move with or around their opponent. It becomes motion without thought, it becomes natural and a part of you.
It can take someone years to truly know why they love training. You might find it difficult to express in words the true reason you train. Maybe, it's the beauty of the arts.
